It’s on!
Trails at Deer Hollow are freshly groomed and the parking lot is plowed for our upcoming Community Ski Day on Saturday, 2/24. Club volunteers Topher and Steve spent the day laying corduroy on all trails (except that pesky Aspen Trail), and setting track on most. A bigger volunteer crew, plus Jess and Skyler from the Forest Service, will be back up there tomorrow (Friday) to freshen up the trails and prepare the base area for Saturday.
The weather should be decent and conditions are great, so come on up! If you’re new to XC skiing or always wanted to try it out, XC ski gear will be available at no charge from Cedar Sports and SUU Outdoors, and club volunteers are available to give free introductory lessons.
And a special thanks to Kaleb from UDOT for plowing out the parking lot!
See you Saturday!
