CMNSC Volunteers Topher, Jim, Chris, and Steve, plus Skyler from the Forest Service spent a beautiful “bluebird day” preparing the trails and facilities at Deer Hollow for what should be a gorgeous weekend.
All trails, including the snowshoe trails, are groomed with fresh corduroy, and most have classic tracks set. The warm sun is softening the snow by early afternoon, so early risers will have firm and fast trails after they set up in freezing temperatures overnight.
And thanks, again, to Sarah and Abby for keeping the snack shelves stocked. Those volunteers running the snow shovels are burning those snack calories. Those of us running the groomer…not so much!
Have a great weekend up there!
